An established and innovative business operating in the UK livestock feed sector is looking to add a Sales Account Manager to its sales team. This is a remote field-based role focused on managing and growing customer accounts across the North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, and Bristol regions.

The Role
The successful candidate will take ownership of a defined portfolio of ruminant accounts, with a strong focus on delivering value-added solutions, achieving sales growth, and supporting customers with expert advice and tailored feed strategies. You will work within a wider team and alongside specialists to drive business development, with the support of robust internal systems and CRM tools.
Key Responsibilities:
-Manage and develop a portfolio of ruminant sector accounts in your region
-Implement pricing and sales strategies in line with company objectives
-Identify opportunities to grow market share and customer value
-Build and execute tailored account plans using CRM data
-Collaborate with internal teams (technical, transport, support) to ensure high service levels
-Monitor customer performance, profitability, and retention metrics
-Contribute to the wider sales strategy and share insights with team members
Candidate Profile:
-Minimum 5 years’ experience in agricultural sales, preferably within the ruminant sector
-Strong understanding of farm-level business processes and animal nutrition
-Excellent communication and account management skills
-Knowledge of the North Somerset/South Gloucestershire/Bristol farming landscape
-Analytical, proactive, and commercially focused
-Proficient in using CRM and standard IT systems
-Team player, with the ability to collaborate across departments and functions
