National Account Manager – Grocery – Hybrid
North West London | £50,000–£60,000 + 20% bonus
You’ll be managing and growing relationships with some of the UK’s biggest retailers — Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Morrisons, Ocado, Waitrose — and driving sales across both impulse and sharing ranges.
The business is in growth mode, so they’re not looking for someone to babysit existing accounts. They want someone who’ll push for more — more listings, more distribution, more visibility.
What you’ll actually do:
* Manage and grow sales with the major grocery and convenience retail accounts.
* Get new products listed, not just “discussed.”
* Build proper joint business plans that deliver incremental revenue — not PowerPoints that gather dust.
* Develop promotions that actually move volume and deliver a return.
* Contribute to NPD plans and launches that add genuine value, not just fill shelf space.
What you’ll need:
* Experience managing grocery/convenience retail accounts — you know how the big guys operate.
* A commercial head — you get margin, ROI and trade investment.
* Confident negotiator who can hold your own in front of buyers.
* Highly organised and structured — you can juggle multiple accounts without dropping the ball.
* Someone proactive, self-motivated and comfortable working with minimal hand-holding.
