About the Role
A fantastic opportunity for a Deputy Ward Manager at an outstanding mental health hospital in Wadhurst, East Sussex. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team in providing therapeutic care and support for patients with mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide a safe and therapeutic environment for patients
* Ensure high standards of care for patients' mental and physical health
* Lead and model best practice for junior staff
* Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team
* Supervise, appraise and support continuous professional development
* Assist with recruitment and retention
Qualifications & Requirements
* Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with an active NMC Pin
Your Experience (Preferred)
* Excellent evidence-based clinical knowledge
* Experience with Care Plans, Risk Assessments and report writing
* Knowledge of Mental Health Act legislation and statutory regulations
* Experience staffing, skill mix and leading shifts
* Committed to supporting junior staff and students
Salary and Benefits
Annual salary £43,014 – £46,314 (DOE). Permanent full-time role, 37.5 hours per week.
