This welcoming and community orientated specialist adult centre/school is seeking a Support worker to join their established team ASAP. This highly regarded specialist centre supports young adults 18+ years on the Autistic spectrum and with other associated conditions (including communication difficulties, medical needs and challenging behaviour). This award winning setting is looking for a full time member of staff to join this globally recognised school on a permanent basis. This role is needed all year round, Monday-Friday 9-5pm.
The setting is brilliantly resourced, open and welcoming, well equipped and enables the education team to offer an education/curriculum that is broad, fun, interactive and meeting the needs of each child. This school can offer you the best of the best training and the opportunity to immediately access career developing qualifications and courses. Successful post holders will work on a 1:1 basis with students when required as well as support in class with a small group. The existing team are passionate and dedicated and are invested in offering a safe and supportive environment for the young people.
