Job Description:
As a sporting coordinator, you will be responsible for the operational and sporting coordination of the Junior World Rally Championship.
You will also support the organisation and development of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC). This role offers the opportunity to play an active part in the strategic evolution of both championships and contribute to the excellence of FIA rallying worldwide.
You will report to the WRC Category Manager.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (ASNs, organisers, and WRC consultants)
* Manage championship registrations and monitor event registrations
* Oversee accreditation process for championship events
* Ensure accuracy and compliance of official documents
* Propose improvements to enhance WRC and JWRC visibility
Event Support – JWRC (max 6 events/year):
* Act as FIA Championship coordinator during JWRC events
* Assess on-site conditions and services for competitors
* Present reports post-events
* Coordinate with stakeholders: ASNs, promoters, organisers, competitors, officials
Delegate Coordination:
* Communicate with FIA delegates and consultants
Reporting:
* Collect reports from FIA officials
* Support governance and regulatory processes
* Assist in WRC Commission meetings preparation
* Draft and follow-up on sporting regulations
* Organize FIA seminars and officials’ summit
Championship Calendar Management:
* Review calendar applications from ASNs
Communication & Website:
* Maintain up-to-date championship info on fia.com
* Update standings and classifications
Profile:
* Degree in Sports Management or related field
* Strong rallying knowledge
* Experience as co-driver, team coordinator, or event organiser is a plus
* Familiarity with FIA regulations
* Fluent in English; French or Spanish preferred
* Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
* Excellent communication skills and stakeholder interaction
* Organized, detail-oriented, and multitasking ability
