We're looking for a vibrant and engaging superstar Activities Lead to be part of our Haddenham Park Care Home and Apartments in Haddenham, Aylesbury.
The impact you will make.
* Through a person-centred approach, you will provide both group & 121 activities to stimulate the mind, body & soul of your residents.
* Championing our ‘Continue Being Me’ ethos, you'll work with your colleagues to create unique and highly personal experiences for residents.
* To develop a weekly programme of Activities which will be displayed across the home.
* Talented in organisation, you'll develop our community events and project calendar continuing & growing our Summer BBQ, Halloween and Christmas Light Switch on events!
* To work closely with all departments, families, and other carers to provide a therapeutic environment by offering residents a choice of varied activity programmes that meet their individual needs.
* With unparalleled kindness, you will thrive in helping your residents with their everyday needs.
* To welcome new residents on their first day, making them feel comfortable and at home; providing an induction to the building, introducing them to other team members, and spending time getting to know them.
* The community partnerships you'll build will bring joy to the residents and bring Haddenham Park into the very heart of the local area.
Who you are.
Creative: You're experienced in social media and the art of storytelling. Comfortable posting on our Facebook page.
Courageous: You'll have a clean driving license with a willingness to learn how to drive our mini-bus for trips out with residents!
