Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator - Prestwick (12-Month Contract)
We are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator to provide hands-on support at our Prestwick site. This 12-month contract role will focus on ensuring compliance and high standards of EHS across operational, warehousing, and office areas, with occasional support for other regional locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver practical Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) support to management and employees.
Conduct risk assessments and prepare safety procedures, Safe Working Instructions, and compliance documentation.
Act as primary EHS point of contact, liaising with regulatory agencies and ensuring environmental and health compliance.
Perform site inspections, accident investigations, and implement corrective actions.
Support warehousing operations, including goods handling, machinery, crane, and forklift safety.
Maintain chemical management processes, including COSHH and REACH compliance.
Deliver EHS training, inductions, and awareness programmes.
Contribute to emergency preparedness, sustainability initiatives, and environmental compliance reporting. Essential:
Level 3 qualification in Health and Safety or Environmental Management.
Strong verbal and written English skills. Desirable:
Experience in engineering, manufacturing, warehousing, or mechanical maintenance environments.
Previous experience in aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing environments. Location: Prestwick, UK
