Hours: 21 hours per week
Shifts: Monday 09:30 to 16:30, Saturday 09:30 to 16:30 and Sunday 09:30 to 16:30
Pay: £ per hour + potential for overtime

About the Role
As a Retail Assistant, you’ll play a key role inproviding high-quality food and retail services across the hospital. Fromserving hot meals and drinks to keeping the café and retail areas spotless andwell-stocked, your work will make a real difference to everyone’s day.
Your main duties will include:
* Serving food and beverages at the counter while maintaining portion control and excellent customer care.
* Monitoring and recording food temperatures.
* Restocking shelves and displays using stock rotation methods.
* Supporting stocktaking and ordering processes.
* Preparing and delivering hospitality functions to a high standard.
* Operating tills and handling cash securely.
* Clearing tables, washing up, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
* Following cleaning schedules and using cleaning materials safely in line with COSHH regulations.
* Supporting new team members through the “buddy” induction programme.
What We’re Looking For
* We’re seeking someone who is:
* Experienced in catering and/or retail environments
* Friendly, approachable, and a great communicator
* A team player who takes pride in their work and personal presentation
* Aware of health and safety, infection control, and hygiene standard
* Willing to learn, train, and grow within Sodexo
Desirable but not essential:
* Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
* NVQ Level 2 in Customer Service
