The Glen Medical Group currently have a vacancy for a full time receptionist. Are you an experienced medical receptionist looking for a change or a new challenge? Applicants must have a good educational background, be of smart appearance, have excellent customer care skills and a pleasant telephone manner. They should have excellent communication skills, IT skills (Emis web an advantage but not essential) and be able to multi task in a busy but friendly environment, the ability to work under pressure is essential. They will be responsible for greeting patients and answering telephone queries, processing repeat prescriptions as well as data entry and scanning documents via emis workflow.

The Glen Medical Group is a busy training practice with approx 11,000 patients. We have 5 GPs, 3 trainee GPs, 1 Advanced Nurse practitioner, 1 Pharmacist, 3 Practice nurses, 1 Nurse associate,1 Health care assistant. All of these roles are supported by our large Receptinon/Administration team who play a vital part in the day to day running of the practice.
