Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Renderer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and be proficient in various techniques and trades. This role involves applying render to surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish while adhering to safety standards and project specifications.
Duties
* Apply render to walls and surfaces using appropriate techniques and tools
* Prepare surfaces for rendering, including cleaning and repairing as necessary
* Work with various materials, including plaster, cement, and other rendering compounds
* Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as roofers, plumbers, and electricians, to ensure seamless project execution
* Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to guide work processes
* Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
* Conduct masonry work as required for structural integrity
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
* Assist in fabrication tasks as needed, including carpentry and construction painting
Qualifications
* Proven experience in rendering or related construction fields
* Proficiency in roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work, plastering, fabrication, carpentry, masonry, and construction painting is highly desirable
* Strong understanding of using hand tools and power tools safely
* Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately
* Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
* A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements
