We are now expanding our services with a dedicated domiciliary care branch in Wales, providing high-quality, person-centred care to individuals in their own homes. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new service within a trusted organisation.
Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and motivated Care Coordinator to support the launch and development of our domiciliary care service. You will be central to building the workforce, coordinating care, and fostering strong client relationships while ensuring compliance with Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) guidelines.
This is a full-time, office-based role (Monday to Friday) with some on-call responsibilities (including alternating weekends), for which additional payments are provided.

Key Responsibilities
* Build and manage care rotas to ensure safe, reliable service delivery.
* Support with recruitment, induction, and retention of care staff as the workforce grows.
* Act as the main point of contact for clients and families, fostering trust and positive relationships.
* Contribute to the development of care plans, risk assessments, and compliance systems.
* Liaise with external professionals and stakeholders to promote and grow the service.
* Manage staff holidays, sickness, and cover, maintaining continuity of care.
* Assist the Registered Manager in embedding quality standards and preparing for inspections.
* Help shape the company culture, ensuring care is always compassionate, professional, and client-focused.
* Take part in the on-call rota (including alternating weekends), answering calls from clients and staff, and ensuring shifts are covered in the event of sickness or emergencies. This is paid separately from your basic salary.
Requirements
* Proven experience in domiciliary care coordination (essential).
* Strong knowledge of CIW regulations and compliance requirements.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to adapt, problem-solve, and thrive in a start-up environment.
* Confident in building and maintaining client relationships.
* Proficient with IT and care management systems.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable).
* Confident in using MS Software (Word, Excel, OneDrive, Outlook)
* Fluent in speaking and writing English language.
