Domiciliary Care Worker - West Essex (Epping, Harlow, Uttlesford)

Raynet Care is looking for a hard-working, reliable and compassionate Domiciliary Care Worker to support vulnerable adults in their own homes across Epping, Harlow and Uttlesford.
You will be supporting people to live as independently and safely as possible, with dignity and respect at the heart of everything you do.
A positive attitude towards caring and proven experience in care are essential.
Key Responsibilities (Domiciliary Care Worker)
* Provide high-quality personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting and continence care.
* Support with safe moving and handling, using equipment where required.
* Prompt or administer medication in line with care plans and company policies.
* Assist with meal preparation, hydration and nutrition.
* Support service users with domestic tasks such as light cleaning, laundry and shopping.
* Offer companionship, emotional support and encouragement to maintain independence and wellbeing.
* Support service users to access the community, appointments and social activities as required.
* Accurately record and update care notes, including any changes in needs or risks.
* Communicate effectively with office staff, families and other professionals to ensure consistent, person-centred care.
* Follow all safeguarding, health & safety and infection control procedures.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
* Hard-working, reliable and committed to delivering excellent care.
* Experienced in domiciliary or social care (community care, residential care, or similar).
* Able to demonstrate a genuinely positive attitude towards caring and supporting vulnerable people.
* Kind, patient and able to build trusting relationships with service users and their families.
* Able to work flexibly, including some early mornings, evenings and weekends as required.
* Comfortable travelling within Epping, Harlow and Uttlesford.
* A driver with access to a car is highly desirable due to the community nature of the role.
Essential
* Right to work in the UK.
* Willingness to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
* Good spoken and written English for record keeping and communication.
