About the Position

The Maintenance Manager will direct the strategic initiatives and objectives of the Maintenance department, while managing day‑to‑day operations through team engagement. All members of the department work together to create memorable moments for guests, in line with both company and hotel‑specific service standards, and collaborate closely with other departments within the hotel.
You will act as an ambassador for your hotel and the wider Leonardo Hotels estate, demonstrating the company vision, mission and values. At all times, you will treat others around you with respect, dignity and fairness.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the Maintenance team to keep the department running like clockwork.
* Direct the strategic initiatives and objectives of the Maintenance department.
* Manage day‑to‑day operations and engage the team to support overall hotel success.
* Motivate colleagues to maximise guest satisfaction at all times.
* Collaborate closely with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Have previous experience working in a similar role within the Hospitality industry.
* Be hands‑on and prepared to work on fixes and improvements alongside your team.
* Have exceptional knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems that you can share with your team.
* Understand the finances of the hotel and have basic knowledge of budgeting and reporting.
* Be up for a challenge because no two days are the same working in Maintenance!
