Qualifications
Essential:
* Strong engineering background in specialist vehicles or machinery
* In-depth knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems
* Hands‑on experience with diagnostics, maintenance, and repair
* Experience working with high‑value capital equipment
* Understanding of IC engines, hydraulic, and auto‑electrical systems
* Good IT skills (Microsoft packages)
Desirable:
* Formal training in vehicle or agricultural equipment
* Electrical and hydraulic qualifications
* Recognised engineering qualifications
Roles & Responsibilities
* Carry out maintenance and repair of sweepers, spreaders, airport support equipment, and mowing machinery
* Complete refurbishment and accident damage repairs
* Undertake warranty work and associated documentation
* Perform body building and welding tasks where required
* Accurately complete all administrative tasks including job sheets and parts requests
* Coordinate effectively with the Service Desk to manage workload
* Attend customer sites across the UK for repairs (occasional overnight stays required)
* Provide support to other UK locations when required
* Deliver excellent customer service at all times
* Work collaboratively within the workshop team to meet deadlines and targets
* Promote continuous improvement and uphold company values
