Manager I, Public Relations – UK & Europe Corporate Communications Lead
Job Overview
TransUnion is seeking a UK & Europe Corporate Communications Lead to drive corporate positioning and build the external and internal reputation of the company as a global information and insights business. The role leads crisis and incident communications, develops and implements insights‑based campaign activity, and shapes UK & Europe internal communications and selected client communications that impact corporate reputation.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain the UK & Spain (Europe) PR strategy, ensuring alignment with international frameworks and processes.
* Plan and coordinate activity around key topics and issues, bringing together business‑wide campaigns focused on regulatory and industry‑specific change.
* Support wider corporate and communications (and marketing) strategy, including product announcements, research insights, brand building, partner and employer‑of‑choice programmes.
* Communicate corporate communications strategy, messaging, content and measurement to key stakeholders.
* Manage PR agencies in‑region and other suppliers (e.g., monitoring and licensing) and advise on selection and performance.
* Identify and coach on best‑practice interview procedures and techniques with senior spokespeople for corporate media opportunities; arrange external media training where required.
* Develop junior talent through coaching to direct reports and mentoring support across the Corporate Affairs and Communications function.
* Be flexible and work across wider communication projects and activities as required.
* Report KPI and evaluation metrics regionally and internationally, ensuring alignment with wider business strategic goals.
* Maintain core materials necessary for the delivery of the ongoing corporate programme (e.g., strategy, activity planners, key message briefs, media contact lists, issue trackers, capacity planning).
* Generate strong media awareness – spot opportunities and provide insight to the wider business; develop insight and feedback tools, including competitor tracking.
* Serve as a key member of the crisis/incident communications team (DIRT – Data Incident Response Team).
* Advise on wider related communication matters (speeches, events, etc.) and provide ad‑hoc consultancy advice directly to senior leaders and group functions.
* Support priority client communications that impact corporate reputation.
* Manage the in‑region internal communications programme in close partnership with the Director of International Internal Communications.
* Enable wider internal and external stakeholder outreach, facilitating knowledge sharing and coordination for key initiatives.

Working Conditions
This is a hybrid position requiring regular in‑person attendance at a designated TransUnion office for a minimum of two days a week, supplemented by virtual work.
