*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with specific experience working with children. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating mental health disorders, providing comprehensive assessments, and developing tailored treatment plans to support the wellbeing of your patients.
*Duties*
* Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients, particularly children.
* Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on the needs of each patient.
* Provide ongoing management and support for patients, monitoring their progress and adjusting treatment as necessary.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for patients.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
* Engage in regular supervision and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
* Participate in training and mentoring of junior staff as required.
*Qualifications*
* Medical degree with a valid licence to practice as a psychiatrist.
* Proven experience in psychiatric practice, particularly with children is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
* Commitment to providing high-quality patient care while adhering to ethical standards.
