TPF Recruitment is proud to be the leading provider of accountancy practice opportunities across the Southern Home Counties. We are currently supporting one of our long-standing clients with a fantastic new opening for a Client Manager / Accounts Manager to join their friendly and growing team based in Brighton.
Our client is a small, independent accountancy firm made up of four dedicated professionals. They offer an incredibly relaxed and personable working environment, along with flexible working arrangements to support work-life balance.
This is a full 360 position within a mixed general practice capacity, offering direct client contact and responsibility for managing your own portfolio. You will be joining a forward-thinking, cloud-based practice that has embraced paperless systems and automation to deliver efficient and modern client service.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing a portfolio of clients, acting as their first point of contact
Preparing accounts, tax returns, and management reports
Overseeing bookkeeping, VAT, and compliance work
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Supporting junior team members where required
Requirements
About You:
We are looking for an individual who is either:
AAT Level 4 qualified with experience managing a client portfolio, or
ACCA/ACA qualified with practice experience
You will thrive in a close-knit environment and enjoy working directly with clients while taking ownership of your work.
