Are you an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for a role that offers variety, stability, and a great working environment?
My client, a well-established and growing organisation, is looking for a Class 2 Driver / Warehouse Operative to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine HGV driving with hands-on warehouse duties across the week.
About the Role
This is a mixed position where you will spend 2 days per week carrying out Class 2 multidrop deliveries to customers and company sites, and the remainder of the week supporting warehouse operations.
Driving Responsibilities (2 Days/Week)
Delivering goods safely and professionally to customers and other company locations
Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with all driving regulations
Maintaining excellent customer service and representing the company positively
Ensuring all delivery paperwork is completed accurately
Warehouse Responsibilities (Remaining Days)
Picking, packing and preparing customer orders
Loading and unloading vehicles
General warehouse housekeeping and stock movement
Supporting goods-in and goods-out as required
Ensuring the warehouse operates safely and efficiently
What We're Looking For
Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
Current CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Previous warehouse or logistics experience (preferred but not essential)
Good communication skills and a positive, reliable work ethic
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Comfortable with manual handling and general warehouse tasks
