Contact Person: Philip Mallard Email: philip.mallard@highland.gov.ukJob Purpose: As the ICT Technical Design Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the council's ICT infrastructure, ensuring it fully supports the delivery of our ICT Strategy and wider business objectives. You will have ownership of the end-to-end infrastructure design, providing expert leadership to ensure solutions are secure, resilient, scalable and aligned with industry best practice.
You will be responsible for developing, maintaining and governing the council's ICT infrastructure design, offering strategic and technical advice to ensure it delivers measurable business value. Working closely with the ICT Technical Operations Manager and ICT Strategy Programme Manager, you will help define future technical direction and guide the organisation through the successful implementation of new and evolving technologies.

Requirements
Educated to degree level in a numerate/business/digital and technology related subject; or
Relevant industry specific qualification(s); or
Extensive relevant proven experience that demonstrates a similar level of knowledge and understanding.
