Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer - CAE / CAM Engineer

Location: Derby (Raynesway)
We have an exciting opportunity for a CAE Manufacturing Engineer to join our Submarines division within NBC OBU at Raynesway, Derby.
The role involves maintaining and developing Siemens NX Post Processor, Siemens NX Integrated Machine Simulation, and CGTech Vericut Master Project estate to support efficient machine tool programming for production.
The engineer reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager within the NBC Production Support Team and works within a cross-functional team. They act as the Technical Authority for CAM programs, ensuring product integrity, production rate, cost, and quality.
Responsibilities include collaborating with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations to deliver manufacturing methods, machine programs, technical instructions, and operational support for machining operations such as gantry mills and multi-axis machines.
Additional duties involve supporting quality requirements, design for manufacture studies, and playing a key role in New Product Introduction (NPI).

Candidate requirements: Qualified engineer (HND/foundation degree or equivalent), experience with manufacturing processes and CAE practices, proficiency in CAM tools (Siemens NX, Vericut, PLM, Teamcenter), programming skills (TCL, XML, Python), and familiarity with machine languages (Sinumerik, Siemens 840D, Heidenhain, Fanuc, Mazatrol).
