We are currently recruiting a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant for a supportive and inclusive mainstream primary school located in the London Borough of Southwark. This full-time, long-term position is set to begin in September 2025 and is ideal for an experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) or aspiring Teaching Assistant seeking to build a career in SEN education.
? Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide 1:1 support and small group interventions for pupils with Autism (ASD), ADHD, Speech and Language Needs, and other additional learning needs
2. Collaborate with the SENCO and classroom teachers to implement Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
3. Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and academic progress
