Grafton Banks Finance are partnering with a reputable client based in Bexhill to recruit a Finance Assistant on an initial temporary basis, with the potential for extension or permanent opportunity. This is a full-time role supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing various financial tasks, including processing invoices, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with financial administration across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing purchase and sales invoices
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
* Supporting credit control activities
* Performing bank and credit card reconciliations
* Liaising with suppliers and reconciling statements
* Processing petty cash and reconciling expenses
* Provide ad-hoc support across the finance function
The ideal candidate will:
* Have proven experience in a finance or accounts role
* Be immediately available or able to start within the coming weeks
* Be based in or near the Bexhill area, with the ability to commit to full-time, in-office work
* Possess strong communication skills and the ability to quickly adapt and contribute
