Job Description:
Salesforce Technology Lead
Location: UK-based (with travel to client sites and Salesforce events, approx. 6 days/month)
Salary: Competitive | Bonus | Share Scheme
Type: Full-time | Permanent
We're partnering with a leading digital consultancy that’s building a brand-new Salesforce practice. They’re now hiring a Salesforce Technology Lead — a strategic, client-facing technical leader who will guide the direction of the practice and oversee the most high-profile Salesforce programmes across the UK.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the technology vision of a growing capability from the ground up, influence C-level stakeholders, and define what “best-in-class” Salesforce delivery looks like in the public and commercial sectors.
About the Role
As Salesforce Technology Lead, you’ll take a principal-level role in shaping the consulting firm’s overall Salesforce strategy — guiding solution architecture, influencing practice-wide standards, and acting as the senior technical contact for major clients and Salesforce partners.
You’ll work closely with delivery teams, architects, and business leaders to ensure that technology decisions align with business goals — and that Salesforce solutions are secure, scalable, and built to last.
Key responsibilities include:
* Defining the Salesforce technology vision and delivery standards across all engagements
* Acting as a senior technical advisor to internal stakeholders and C-level client contacts
* Supporting business development through pre-sales, bid work, and client shaping sessions
* Leading complex Salesforce delivery across enterprise-scale projects and programmes
* Championing modern platform-first approaches including AI-driven solutions
* Building and mentoring high-performing Salesforce talent across the practice
* Representing the practice in the Salesforce ecosystem as a thought leader and evangelist
* Driving quality, innovation, and strategic alignment across the Salesforce portfolio
What They’re Looking For
* Strong track record of Salesforce delivery leadership, including on public sector programmes
* Ability to influence and engage at C-level with both clients and internal stakeholders
* Certified Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect (CTA preferred)
* Deep knowledge of Salesforce ecosystem – including Sales, Service, Experience, and Data Cloud
* Broad experience across delivery models suited to SaaS (agile, DevOps, modular delivery)
* Experience integrating Salesforce with wider technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure, M365, legacy systems)
* Knowledge of UK government standards for security, compliance, and assurance
* Strong commercial mindset – confident supporting bids under frameworks like G-Cloud, DOS, TS3
* Experience developing high-performing technical teams through coaching and mentoring
* Willingness to travel across the UK as needed (approx. 6 days/month)
* Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
* Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g. Public Sector Solutions)
* Active SC or DV clearance (eligibility required)
Why Join
This role is ideal for someone who wants to make a long-term impact — not just deliver technical solutions but define how a Salesforce practice operates and scales. You’ll have influence over key hires, frameworks, go-to-market strategy, and client outcomes.
If you're a technical leader looking for a role where your voice will shape the future of a practice, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
