Senior Clinical Fellow in Orthopaedics – Lower Limb Robotic-Assisted Arthroplasty

Applications are invited for the above post, available from August 2025. Applications with a start date of February 2026 will also be considered.
This post is aimed at senior trainees (post-FRCS) seeking to gain further experience in lower limb arthroplasty, focusing on robotic-assisted techniques. The position is based at the elective orthopaedic unit at Woodend Hospital, Aberdeen. You will have opportunities to develop surgical and clinical skills, with protected time for audit and research in robotic-assisted surgery. There are no on-call requirements, although participation in the trauma on-call rota may be available upon request at nearby Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
Applicants must demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the UK health system.
This post does not have educational approval from the Postgraduate Dean and will not be recognized for training.
