Description: Cormica Bradford Ltd is a GMP/GLP accredited specialist contract research laboratory (CRO), with over 25 years’ experience in delivering high quality analytical and laboratory support to the pharmaceutical, medical device, agrochemical, biocide/pesticide, chemical and other industry sectors.

The Package

* Starting salary of £19,500 - £23,809.50 per year (dependent on age)

* Monday to Friday, 8:00AM - 4:00PM

What will I be doing as an apprentice?
Cormica is pleased to be able to offer you the opportunity to earn both a salary and to study towards a nationally recognised qualification through our apprenticeship programme.
As an apprentice, you'll work as part of the team who are responsible for ensuring Cormica Bradford has an appropriate Quality Assured working environment for its employees and activities. The role focusses on supporting the Facilities and Operations teams with the day-to-day running of the laboratories, particularly with regard to calibrations, performance verifications, chemical and samples stores support, and laboratory administration.
* Supporting the Operations team with laboratory-focussed tasks (calibrations, chemical and sample store support, and similar).
* Working with the Facilities team to complete with daily, monthly, quarterly and annual laboratory housekeeping and administration duties.
* Responding to ad hoc requests for assistance in the laboratories and stores.

Qualifications

So how does the apprenticeship work?
Over 18 months, you’ll devote a minimum of 6 hours of your working week on ‘off the job’ training. This can include theory training (for example, virtual lessons & online learning), alongside practical training (for example shadowing, mentoring, & time spent writing assignments.
