Connex Education is working with a Secondary School in the Hartlepool area and are recruiting for a Science Teacher to work full- time during term time. The role is a September start. You must have the right to work in the UK to apply for this role.

A Hartlepool secondary school requires a Science Teacher for a temporary role. We’re looking for an enthusiastic educator who shares our commitment to high standards and student success. The successful candidate will be flexible, hardworking, and passionate about making a difference in students’ learning. You’ll join the Science Department team and deliver engaging lessons following the school’s curriculum.
Assignment Details
As a supply Science Teacher, you’ll teach secondary students across Key Stages 3-4, delivering dynamic lessons that follow the national curriculum. You’ll adapt your teaching style to support students of all abilities and use varied approaches to enhance learning. We’re seeking someone with solid science knowledge, strong classroom management abilities, and the skills to connect well with students.

Person Specification
* must be 21 and over
* Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)
* PGCE in Science or related subject from a recognized provider
* You must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one
* Have experience teaching science in a UK secondary school setting.
* Be able to plan and deliver engaging KS3 and KS4 Science lessons across ability ranges.
* Have excellent behaviour management and classroom control skills.
