We are seeking an experienced Port Operations Manager to join our Marine Operations Team in London.
You will have overall responsibility for ensuring that we have the depth of port operational expertise, both in the planning and cost optimization whilst also advising in the ideation and preparation stages of expedition phases.

The Port Operations Manager will report directly to Director Fleet Operations to ensure compliance with port regulations and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
* Book ports, prepare port budgets and optimize port expenditures.
* Control and approve invoices pertaining to port operations.
* Solve ad-hoc problems that occur during day-to-day operations.
* Frequent contact and relationship building with key ports and local agents.
* Responsible for building a global network of agents which are managed in a systematic manner.
* Support our irregular operations team in real time response to ensure our ports and partners give our guests a fantastic experience.
* Support our itinerary planning and expedition teams in the ideation phase of our itinerary process.
* Responsible for a detailed day-by-day harbour cost budget and forecasting.
Qualifications required:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Logistics, Business, Maritime, Technical or similar.
* Minimum 3 years’ experience within port operations from the Cruise Industry with exposure to global operations (equivalent shipping experience could be sufficient)
* Extensive experience of planning and supporting marine / cruise port operations in different areas of the globe.
* Fluent in English, spoken and written.
