Electrical Tutor/Assessor
Across Greater Manchester (2 days per week in Trafford Park)
Up to £37,000 (dep on exp)

The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Skills Development Tutor specialising in Electrical Installation to join an established education and skills team. The role focuses on developing and delivering high quality training that helps learners build the knowledge, skills and behaviours they need to progress. You will work with apprentices and adult learners, designing engaging curriculum content, assessing progress and supporting individuals to achieve positive outcomes.
Duties:
1. Deliver face-to-face and blended training, planning a logical and engaging curriculum that supports the development of electrical knowledge, skills and behaviours.
2. Assess learner work, provide clear feedback and agree development objectives with learners and employers.
3. Visit apprentices in the workplace to review progress and ensure they stay on track.
4. Set meaningful targets based on accurate starting points, track progress and support timely achievement.
5. Use learner and employer feedback to help improve the curriculum and overall training offer.
6. Manage safeguarding concerns, follow health and safety procedures and maintain a safe learning environment.
