1. Work as part of a team of plant fitters, either individually or in small groups.
2. Carry out routine and non-routine maintenance on plant and equipment.
3. Tagging and registering of new equipment.
4. Support various business units across Scotland.
5. Initial role may be as a store person/driver, depending on experience.
6. Carry out efficient stock control ensuring the warehouse has sufficient spare parts and equipment.
7. Some travel and overnight stays away from base location may be required.
What you will need
8. Ideally you will have experience of mechanical maintenance and will be qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent although training will be provided where necessary.
9. You will be able to demonstrate competence in the use of workshop equipment; ability to work within SGN safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with HS&E and Company will also have a working knowledge of regulations associated with the disposal of waste.
10. You will have the ability to understand and work to instruction and be able to plan and organise resources in order to ensure that work is carried out efficiently.
11. Experience of working in a team environment would be beneficial
12. You will have good leadership qualities together with excellent inter-personal skills
13. A full driving licence is required
