Public Health Manager needed in Gloucester Paying £274.42 per day ref 5287821
Full time hours on a temporarybasis
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of public health programmes aligned to local and national priorities.
* Provide expert public health advice to internal teams, senior leaders and external partners.
* Analyse and interpret population health data to inform strategic decisions and service improvements.
* Develop evidence-based policies, strategies, and interventions to address health inequalities.
* Prepare reports, business cases, and briefings for senior leadership and elected members.
* Oversee commissioned services, ensuring high-quality performance and value for money.
* Build and maintain strong partnerships with the NHS, local authorities, community organisations, and wider stakeholders.
* Support emergency preparedness and health protection responses as required.
* Manage budgets and contribute to wider organisational planning.
