Directorate: Chief ExecutivesHours: 37 hours a week Contract Type: Permanent Location: The Council House The Council’s IT Services department is seeking a professional and enthusiastic senior technical analyst to join a small team of Infrastructure engineers responsible for maintaining the Council’s hybrid cloud and locally hosted infrastructure. This is an excellent time to join local Government IT due to the challenging projects required to support and deliver the forth coming Local Government Reorganisation. About You To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have... • Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a senior Server/Infrastructure support role covering Microsoft, virtualisation, Hyperconverged, CITRIX, Backups, and Cloud technology. • Able to demonstrate strong technical ability in multiple technologies. • Excellent problem solving and customer management skills. • Proven experience working independently and as part of a team. • Lead on high profile Infrastructure project delivery to tight time scales. • Objective driven. • Able to provide management cover for the infrastructure Team Leader. • Effective communication skills. • Highly tuned problem-solving skills. • Proven track record developing junior staff’s skills Next Steps
