Main duties of the job
Our services include Substance Misuse, reception screening, providing agreed care packages, undertaking appropriate physical health observations, clinics such as Phlebotomy, ECG, NHS health checks, sexual health, and health promotion. You will need a good level of communication skills, be a team player and provide high standards of care to patients under the supervision of a qualified nurse/practitioner. If you have NVQ level 3 and a good level of care experience, then we could have the perfect job for you.

Person Specification
Education and Training
* NVQ level 3 in Health and Social care or equivalent clinical experience
* NHS Care Certificate or relevant clinical experience
* Student studying final year of the Registered Nursing Degree
Knowledge and Experience
* Demonstration of experience of working with people with complex health needs, in a health or social care setting.
* Knowledge of nursing standards gained through qualification or equivalent experience.
* Experience of nursing practice and clinical procedures
* Understanding and application of confidentiality.
Skills and Abilities
* Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team, maintaining effective working relationships and mitigating conflict.
* The ability to complete tasks under delegated responsibility and ability to escape concerns to senior clinical staff as appropriate.
* Promote and support patients to manage own mental and physical needs
* Able to maintain contemporaneous clinical records following clinical activities.
* Keyboard skills - computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
