About Our Client

Job Description

3. Oversee the posting of central month end postings ensuring correct categorisation and resolution of discrepancies.
4. Ensure the accurate and timely posting of central allocations, CMS, IT allocations, and apprentice levy.
5. Manage the phasing of payroll costs.
6. Ensure accurate posting of overtime, real-time deductions, insurance and property and resolve any discrepancies.
7. Production of monthly reporting including commentary
8. Maintain and update all cost and budget models with relevant data, working with the Finance Business Partner Team to enhance models to provide better management information.
9. Responsibility for the creation and maintenance of budget and forecast reporting within deadlines.
10. Support with the preparation and reporting of national statistics as required by regulatory bodies.
11. Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting as requested by senior management or other departments.
12. Support the maintenance and distribution of weekly financial reports.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Finance Business Partner should have:

13. A background in Accounting & Finance or a related field.
14. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
15. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
16. An understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards.
17. Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
18. A proactive approach to tasks and a commitment to continuous learning.
