YOU MUST HAVE THE RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK NOW BEFORE APPLYING FOR THIS POSITION. WE ARE NOT ABLE TO ASSIST YOU WITH OBTAINING A VISA.
We're a fast‑growing agricultural business, and we're looking for someone who wants to grow with us. If you're motivated, eager to learn, and ready to take on a hands‑on role, there are real opportunities to develop your skills and work toward running your own farm in the future.
In this role, you'll support the Farm Manager and Assistant with all aspects of daily farm operations, ensuring high welfare standards and contributing to the production of top‑quality broiler chickens. You will also help maintain a safe working environment in line with our Health & Safety policies.
We realise that poultry farming is a specialist industry, and we don't expect you to come with all the experience. What really matters is enthusiasm and the right attitude. If you're keen to learn, we'll teach you everything you need to know.
We'll invest in your training from day one: you'll complete your Poultry Passport with us, and if you haven't yet achieved an NVQ in Poultry Production, we'll enrol you and fully support you through the qualification.
Responsibilities include:
· Getting the chicken sheds ready for new chicks and carrying out daily checks on the sheds and birds
· Looking after the chickens day‑to‑day: ventilation, feeding, vaccinating and general poultry care
· Completing basic paperwork and daily checklists
· Maintaining clean, dry bedding and good overall shed conditions
· Ensuring biosecurity and high welfare standards at all times
· Humanely culling and removing any dead birds
· Following all Health & Safety and environmental procedures
· Supporting the Farm Manager and Assistant with general farm and equipment maintenance
· Working with managers and vets to support good bird performance and welfare
· Reporting any concerns or unusual activity on site promptly
· Completing required Poultry Passport training
Desired Skills
· Being reliable, committed and enthusiastic
· Communicating well with your team and contractors
· A strong willingness to learn and follow farm procedures
Mandatory Requirements
· Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle
Desirable Experience
Experience using a tractor, telehandler, and/or forklift
(Training will be provided for the right candidate)
If you're shortlisted, you'll be invited to meet with us on the farm so you can see the location and get a feel for the role. We're happy to discuss the wider benefits package during the interview.

If you don't already hold this NVQ, we will enrol you as part of your development and our commitment to you
