Electrical Engineer

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities
* Carry out PPM and reactive electrical tasks to maximise efficiency, availability, and reliability.
* Perform testing and inspection of electrical systems in line with industry and site standards.
* Undertake defect surveys on electrical plant and systems and provide reports as requested by engineering management.
* Carry out minor new works installations, commissioning and testing.
* Provide assistance to third parties when required.
* Respond to contract supervisor instructions and liaise with the helpdesk to ensure urgent maintenance tasks are addressed within contracted timescales.
* Participate in the on‑call roster and work reasonable overtime as needed.
* Support other sites if required.
Qualifications
* Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in electrical discipline.
* Familiarity with BS7671 – 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
* IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
* Demonstrable electrical experience within a building service and/or industrial environment.
* Evidence of adherence to quality standards and regulatory compliance in a controlled or regulated environment (preferably pharmaceutical).
* Experience with C&G 2391‑52 Inspection & Testing (desirable).
* Willingness to attain Authorised Person LV during probation and maintain appointment throughout employment.
* Experience producing and reviewing RAMS.
