The Associate Director of Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) will lead the development and execution of HEOR strategies for CSL Behring or Vifor assets, primarily within a specific disease area. This role focuses on leading the planning, execution, and dissemination of payer evidence generation to maximize the asset's value throughout its lifecycle by securing and optimizing product pricing and reimbursement.
The position requires deep expertise in Health Economics, Real-World Evidence (RWE), and Health Technology Assessment (HTA), with a hands-on approach to executing HTA submissions and RWE studies.
You will report directly to the Executive Director HEOR, Market Access.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead development, oversight, and execution of comprehensive HEOR strategies to demonstrate the value of CSL’s products for fast and optimal global access.
2. Plan, execute, and disseminate global value evidence generation studies and tools, such as Burden of Illness studies, Patient Preference and Patient Reported Outcomes studies, Systematic Literature Reviews, Indirect Treatment Comparisons, Global Value Dossiers, economic models, and HEOR tools for payer engagement.
3. Engage with Access Leads and Product Strategy Teams to facilitate early evidence generation, identify gaps, and develop mitigation strategies for HTA submissions worldwide.
4. Support Access leads in planning and conducting Early Scientific Advice with key P&R and HTA agencies.
5. Shape pivotal trial designs to meet payer evidence requirements, especially PICO elements, and develop mitigation strategies early.
6. Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, and other functions to develop and execute integrated evidence generation plans aligned with strategic objectives.
7. Lead cross-functional teams to prepare EU JCA dossiers and manage JSC/payer consultations.
8. Support local HTA submissions, adapting global HEOR dossiers and models, and anticipating evidence needs.
9. Ensure HEOR initiatives align with business needs and are properly funded.
10. Foster collaboration with KOLs and external partners to innovate HEOR approaches and validate strategies.
11. Support the development and sharing of internal processes and best practices to enhance HEOR effectiveness.
12. Educate stakeholders on HTA and value evidence requirements and developments.
Qualifications:
1. Experience: At least 8 years in HEOR/market access, with significant exposure to healthcare systems in international markets.
2. Analytical Skills: Strong in statistical modeling, data analysis, and interpretation of research findings.
3. Track Record: Proven success in developing and executing HEOR and HTA strategies for pricing, reimbursement, and access.
4. Knowledge: Extensive understanding of HTA processes and benefit assessments in key markets.
5. Collaboration Skills: Effective in cross-functional teams with strong communication and influencing abilities.
6. Education: An advanced degree in Health Economics, Public Health, or related fields is required.
