Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient order processor to join our warehouse team to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately packed and prepared for shipment. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to handle materials safely, and a commitment to maintaining quality control throughout the packing process.
Responsibilities
* Download of customer orders to an Excel file
* Accurately pick, pack, and label products for shipping according to order specifications.
* Arrange delivery of orders through various shipping partners
* Accurately stock take as required
* Respond to customers emails and answer telephone queries
* Conduct quality control checks on packed items to ensure they meet company standards.
* Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring safe handling techniques are followed.
Requirements
* Knowledge of online order processing, including use of Excel and mail merge
* Previous warehouse experience is preferred, particularly in picking and packing roles.
* Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control processes.
* Great customer service
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 9 months
Pay: £12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
