What you will do
* Conduct thorough assessments of children and families to determine needs, including Child in Need and Child Protection protocols.
* Oversee a caseload of children requiring support plans (Child in Need, Child Protection, Looked After Children).
* Apply risk assessment skills to identify potential safeguarding issues and take decisive action, including Section 47 enquiries.
* Collaborate with families, carers, and a network of professionals from education, health, and law enforcement to deliver comprehensive support.
* Contribute effectively to child protection conferences, core groups, and court proceedings when needed.
* Craft compelling reports, ensuring all documents meet high standards for meetings and legal requirements.
* Maintain exemplary case records that are accurate, timely, and compliant with regulations.
