Overview
Telecommunications Sales Executive role at Canada Wide Media. Location: Crawley, West Sussex. Salary: £29,000 basic, £58,000 OTE + benefits.
Our client is a telecoms supplier covering the South East of England from offices near Gatwick. The role involves selling to SME clients with a consultative approach and opportunities to manage accounts for referral and repeat business. This is predominantly an office-based role with occasional customer-site visits.
Responsibilities
* Target the SME sector in the South East of England, selling a range of Mobile, Connectivity (Broadband and leased lines), Hosted IP Voice and Security.
* Use a consultative sales approach to understand decision making and business needs to tailor packages for clients.
* Generate self-sourced opportunities as well as respond to leads and direct selling opportunities.
* Manage accounts secured for referral and repeat business.
* Attend a dynamic team environment and, when required, visit customer sites to facilitate the sale.
* Participate in bespoke training and mentorship and pursue development toward senior positions within the business.
Qualifications & Skills
* Ideal candidate will have 2 years of telecoms sales experience. Applications from sales professionals outside telecoms will be considered if there is a synergy of business-to-business selling in a competitive, target-driven environment to SME clients.
* Resilient and confident in making outbound calls; excellent at influencing and persuading; capable of handling objections and challenging conversations.
* Good understanding of new technology and the ability to communicate this clearly and concisely to customers.
* Familiarity with software such as Salesforce is advantageous.
