About the role
Are you a passionate SEN Teacher looking to make a meaningful impact in schools across Essex? We are currently recruiting a dedicated SEN Teacher to support pupils with additional needs in a range of supportive primary and secondary schools.
This opportunity is ideal for a qualified SEN Teacher, but we also welcome applications from strong ECTs or graduates who are looking to begin their career in education and develop experience working with SEN pupils.
Location: Schools across Essex
Start Date: Immediate and ongoing opportunities
⏰ Hours: Full-time / Part-time roles available
The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
1. Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to pupils with SEN
2. Adapt teaching strategies to support different SEN needs and learning styles
3. Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to provide high-quality SEN support
4. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for pupils with SEN
5. Monitor progress and support individual learning plans
✅ What We’re Looking For
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an ECT/Graduate with relevant education experience
7. A strong interest in working with SEN pupils
8. Patience, creativity, and strong classroom management
9. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
