Offer description

At Change Grow Live, we’re more than just a substance misuse charity— we’re a community driven by our core values: Open, Compassionate and Bold. Whether someone is struggling with substance use, mental health, homelessness, or social exclusion, we’re here to walk alongside them, offering care, hope, and practical support grounded in dignity and respect.

If you’re ready to inspire change, this is the place for you.

Why work with us?

Our strength lies in our people. We are open about the challenges our communities face, compassionate in our approach, and bold in our ambition to create positive, lasting change. Every day, our teams make a difference and we’re proud to work in a way that is person‑centred, empowering, and inclusive.

If you’re a newly qualified and passionate Social Worker with a deep commitment to supporting people with complex and multiple needs, this is your opportunity to lead with purpose. In this role, you’ll be part of a vibrant, multidisciplinary team, where your knowledge, values, and experience will help shape practice, guide others, and create safer, more hopeful futures for those we support.

We offer a comprehensive Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) programme for those who haven’t yet completed it. This programme is designed to help you consolidate your university learning, build your professional capability, and grow your confidence in practice. As part of your two‑year fixed‑term contract, you’ll benefit from the support of a multi‑disciplinary team and manage a reduced caseload of around 20 families per year, giving you the space to develop your skills in a truly supportive environment.

You’ll also have access to a wide range of training opportunities through our bespoke learning platform, ensuring your continued professional development.
