As a Commercial Gas Safe Field Service Engineer, you'll play a critical role in maintaining, servicing, and repairing gas‑fired industrial food processing equipment at customer sites across the UK and Ireland. You'll ensure gas systems operate safely, efficiently, and in line with regulations—all while delivering exceptional service and support.

Responsibilities
* Perform scheduled service, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial gas systems (CDGA1 / CIGA1)
* Respond to breakdowns, identify faults quickly, and implement effective solutions
* Commission new gas‑fired systems in food processing environments
* Complete service documentation, safety checks, and compliance reports
* Communicate clearly with customers about findings, solutions, and preventive maintenance
* Collaborate with internal teams and contractors to ensure seamless service delivery
* Promote and maintain a strong safety‑first culture aligned with JBT Marel’s zero‑accident policy
Qualifications
* CDGA1 and/or CIGA1 Gas Safe certification (essential)
* Proven experience servicing or commissioning commercial gas systems
* Strong troubleshooting skills and a customer‑focused mindset
* Comfortable working independently in the field
* Full UK driving licence
* Willingness to travel across the UK and Ireland with overnight stays
* Domestic Gas Safe candidates with relevant experience will be considered
* Practical, hands‑on engineer who thrives on autonomy, accountability, and safety‑first thinking
