<div><p>Service Care Solutions is recruiting ex‑police/former officers for a long‑term full‑time contract in Gainsborough.</p><p>The role is paid at £23.73 per hour (Umbrella).</p><p>Applicants must be PIP1 accredited and have a minimum of 5 years policing experience.</p><h3>Role duties</h3><ul><li>Manage allocated lines of enquiry in line with force policy, Data Protection and CPIA disclosure requirements.</li><li>Conduct victim/witness interviews and take statements (including identifying vulnerable/significant victims and applying safeguarding measures).</li><li>Secure, preserve and document evidence (including digital media) and coordinate investigative activity with minimal supervision.</li><li>Progress investigations to deadlines, ensuring compliance with legislation, the Victims Code of Practice and force procedures.</li><li>Use intelligence and force IT systems to support investigations and escalate identified risk/safeguarding concerns.</li><li>Prepare case material and attend court to give evidence where required.</li><li>Attend multi‑agency meetings/case conferences and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders.</li><li>Support operational requirements for Protecting Vulnerable Persons (PVP) / Op Compatible as directed (Mon-Fri shift pattern).</li></ul><h3>Essential criteria</h3><ul><li>PIP1 accreditation.</li><li>Minimum 5 years policing experience (ex‑police/former officer).</li><li>Experience gathering information/evidence from third parties and using appropriate interviewing techniques.</li><li>Strong problem‑solving/decision‑making skills with ability to critically analyse material.</li><li>Experience working with confidential/sensitive information.</li><li>Good IT skills (Word/Excel/Outlook) and ability to use force systems after training.</li><li>Accurate, detail‑focused written work and file preparation.</li><li>Able to work on own initiative; resilient and performance‑focused.</li><li>Willing to undergo Management Vetting and drug screening.</li><l>Full UK driving licence and ability to travel to various locations (public premises/crime scenes/police sites).</l></ul></div>
