The Role
We are looking for a motivated and adaptable Business Development Manager to join our growing team. This is a dual-role position that combines business development with administrative support, ideal for someone who thrives in a varied, hands-on environment. You’ll play a key role in driving business growth while supporting day to day operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and develop new business opportunities within the transport, logistics, and compliance sectors.
* Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
* Provide administrative support across business development and operational functions.
* Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and documentation for client engagement.
* Respond to inbound enquiries with professionalism and a customer-first approach.
* Assist with logistics and compliance-related tasks as needed.
* Work independently and use initiative to make informed decisions that support business objectives.
* Contribute to sales growth with a proactive and enthusiastic mindset.
Skills & Experience Required
* Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
* Proven experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management.
* Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional phone manner.
* Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
* Resilient, proactive, and results driven.
* Experience in the logistics or compliance sector is desirable but not essential.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
