Role: Special Educational Needs TA
Start Date: Immediate
Hours: Full-Time (8:30am - 3:30pm)
Salary: Competitive, 89-95
Role and Responsibilities
You will provide 1:1 support to a range of different individuals that are part of a mainstream class of varying ages from 4-11, and help support their learning and social development. You will work to create a stimulating and inspiring learning atmosphere, and provide personalized academic, emotional and psychological support to help students succeed.
Responsibilities include:
* Provide 1:1 support to students within a mainstream class
* Support the learning and social development of children with complex needs
* Contribute to a positive, nurturing classroom environment
* Collaborate with teachers, other teaching assistants, support staff and specialists
Requirements
* A compassionate and nurturing individual capable of forming meaningful relationships with children of varying ages
* Tailor your approach to address the individual needs of each child
* Work collaboratively with teachers, other teaching assistants and other support staff and other specialists
* Help inspire students by creating a stimulating and inspiring learning atmosphere
