Overview
Payroll Administrator role at the University of the West of Scotland. Fixed Term: 23 months. Full time: 35 hours per week. You will provide a comprehensive payroll service to employees and pensioners and support colleagues across the University with payroll-related queries and advice.
Responsibilities
* Day-to-day operation of the monthly payrolls to ensure accurate and timely payment of approximately 2000 employees.
* Support colleagues across the University schools and departments, providing payroll solutions and advice.
Qualifications
* SVQ level 3 in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
* Experience within a payroll environment
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel
* Understanding of HR/Payroll systems
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work to deadlines
