About the Role:
As our experienced dumper operative, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement of materials around the substation construction site. Your responsibilities will include:
* Operating various types of dumpers safely and efficiently.
* Transporting materials such as soil, aggregates, and waste.
* Performing daily checks and basic maintenance on the machinery.
* Adhering strictly to site health and safety regulations.
* Working closely with other site personnel to ensure smooth operations.
* Reporting any issues or concerns to the site management team.
Relevant Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience as a dumper operative on construction or similar projects.
* A valid CPCS or NPORS card for operating dumpers.
* A strong understanding of health and safety procedures on construction sites.
* Excellent machine operating skills and awareness of surroundings.
* Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
* Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are essential.
* Full UK driving licence.
