About the Role As a Children’s Worker, you will: Plan, organise and deliver engaging activities for children aged 0–16, supporting their development and wellbeing Provide practical and emotional support to children and their parents Develop and review individual support plans, tailored to each child’s needs Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a high-quality service Maintain accurate records in line with safeguarding and compliance standards Carry out risk assessments and contribute to safeguarding processes, including attending meetings where required Ensure a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all families This is a community-based childcare role, so a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (with business insurance) is essential. What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who is: Qualified to Level 3 NVQ in Childcare/Play, NNEB or equivalent (or working towards) Experienced in childcare, play work, or family support roles Knowledgeable in safeguarding and child protection procedures Passionate about supporting diverse communities and committed to NCHA’s CLEAR values Organised, compassionate, and confident working independently and as part of a team Why Join NCHA?
