Join a leading semiconductor and software design company as a Supply Chain - Business Analyst!
Job Overview:
This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in a greenfield SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) implementation. You'll be part of a high-performing Business Analysis team, helping define new processes and modules from scratch. This role offers both challenge and growth potential in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Contract Length: 6 months (with strong potential for extension)
Contract Rate: £700 per day (inside IR35)
Location: Cambridge (hybrid – twice per week on-site)
Key Responsibilities
Act as a functional consultant within the SAP SCM module, understanding how inventory and supply chain processes integrate within SAP
Collaborate with two existing BAs as the third team member, expected to contribute from day one
Lead and prioritise business analysis activities across multiple supply chain initiatives
Participate in the exploration phase of the project, bridging business needs and technical implementation
Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to gather and align on requirements
Document detailed business requirements, user stories, and process flows using tools like Visio
Prepare and share functional documentation (with confidential info removed) to demonstrate capability
Key Requirements
Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA SCM implementations
Strong background in requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder engagement
Experience in retail or manufacturing industries is a plus (not essential)
Ability to simplify complex scenarios and run effective workshops
Skilled in process mapping, user story development, and backlog management
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Excel, and Visio
