Shifts: Varies across 8am-6pm (1 hour break for lunch)

Main Duties:
* To plan and provide a caring and stimulating environment that is appropriate for individual children.
* To plan and prepare exciting play opportunities that meet the children's developmental needs.
* To establish and maintain positive relationships with the children and their families.
* To observe and assess children's development.
* Ensure the learning environment is clean and tidy.
* Supporting with nappy changing and toilet training.
* To work within the agreed framework of policies and procedures within the nursery.
* Ensure that all child protection policies and procedures are maintained.
* To be familiar with and comply to the nursery's health and safety requirements.

What we're looking for:
* Candidate must have a passion for childcare, engaging with each child and be able to work well within our team.
* Previous experience working with children as Early Years Educator, Nursery Assistant, Nursery Nurse or similar.
* Ability to build trust and positive working relationships with colleagues and parents.
* Ability to use a variety of techniques to communicate with both children and adults clearly and successfully
* Strong Knowledge and understanding of Child Protection, Safeguarding, and the legislative requirements for working with children. (Training Available)
* Good/Fluent in English
The safeguarding of all our children is our highest priority and therefore a clear and valid DBS, as well as two references will be required from all successful candidates.
